Where Did I park That Jet?

This was a January sketch, which means my whimpy backside didn't get out of the car. I drove around south Seattle for a while and ended up in the parking lot of the Museum of Flight. From where I was sitting it looked like the jet was brought in by just another soccer mom with a slightly higher budget than most...Yea I know. Three engines on one side, two on the other. I'm not just whimpy, I'm lazy.

Stearman PT-134 Kaydet Trainer (1937)

I was trying not to be so obvious with the second plane. This is the sketch for a watercolor painting due in next week's illustration class. There still are a lot of things to work out.....

Museum of Flight

My digital photography class got together at the Museum of Flight this afternoon for a photo shoot. I got there a couple of hours early to get some sketching in. Pen and ink with water wash and gray marker, in the Marty sketchbook.
